Terms

The ground rules for commissioning custom work and using our ready-made plugins.

Last updated · July 2026

Plans and prices

Custom work is defined by a plan agreed before the project begins. The quoted price covers that plan. Changes are welcome and are quoted clearly before they are added — the agreed number does not change without your say-so.

Payment

Payment terms are set out with each quote and may include a deposit for larger projects. Work on a stage begins once its terms are agreed.

Delivery and ownership

What you receive, and whether you own the source code, is agreed per project. Where full source ownership is purchased, it transfers to you on final payment. Where a finished plugin is delivered with support, the underlying code stays with Knight Plugins.

Custom work is built for you and is not resold. Our ready-made plugins are separate products, offered to many customers through SpigotMC.

Support and warranty

Custom work includes a window after delivery for fixes to problems within the agreed plan. Beyond that window, and for changes outside the original plan, ongoing support is available under a separate arrangement. Software is provided without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is expressly agreed.

Ready-made plugins

Plugins bought or downloaded through SpigotMC are also subject to SpigotMC’s terms and the license shown on each resource. See the License page for how they may be used.
